"As a partner in this well-established firm in Baton Rouge, he has honed his skills as one of the region's most capable litigators in both federal and state court," Landrieu said. Landrieu: SW La. VA Clinics Included in Final Vets Bill

“While it has taken longer than it should have or any of us hoped, I’m proud to announce that we have changed the light from red to green to build the Lafayette and Lake Charles veterans’ clinics. The 50,000 veterans who call the greater Lafayette and Lake Charles region home will soon have quality health care in their local communities, and I urge members from both parties in both chambers to vote in favor of this legislation that keeps the promises we have made to our veterans,” Sen. At Landrieu’s Urging, Commerce Takes Important Step Forward on Restore Act Project Solicitation

“Today’s announcement by the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council is an important step forward.  For years, we had the will and the science to restore the Gulf Coast, but we didn’t have the money. Landrieu said. “In order for that to happen, projects need to be approved and funded, and bureaucratic delays are simply unacceptable.  I will continue to push the administration to implement the RESTORE Act as quickly as possible to make sure our children and grandchildren get to see what we see every day: one of the most precious places on earth.”
